This week STIM hosted the Society Publishing Forum, a joint initiative of CISAC and ICMP with the support of AIMP, IMPA and IMPF was attended by our CEO John Corley. The SPF’s purpose is to determine, align and improve the rights management lifecycle, stretching from the writer to the licensee:

• Specification, Commissioning and Recommendation of Common Standards:
  – Best practices
  – File Formats and Choreographies
  – Business Rules to manage the Common Standards
• Adoption and Implementation Reporting on the agreed and refined Common Standards
• Promotion of the Common Standards
• Discussion of the impact of industry developments and emerging technologies
